Separate departments of electrochemistry are very rare in classical universities where our discipline usually falls under the general umbrella of either analytical or physical chemistry. The unique role of these rare departments is raising educated electrochemists, which is only possible when they are involved in real research starting from very early student years. This separate page is dedicated to the very small, but active specialized department in St. Petersburg founded by R.L. Müller and continued by the school of Ya.V. Durdin. The list starts from selected Durdin’s articles of 1930s.
