Among reasonable historical articles written under pressure of the “fight with cosmopolitants, we should mention 1949 article of N.P. Fedotiev related to applied electrochemistry. Less balanced is N.A. Izgaryshev’s 1950 report (published in 1953).

From Frumkin school side, an attempt to demonstrate understanding of the importance of Russin contributions was done by N.A. Bach in 1950 (published in 1953).
