The presented collection (under construction) was partly created at the Department of Electrochemistry (Moscow University), which belonged to Frumkin school. Frumkin’s table and his bookcase (photo) still exist, as well as a number of historical accounts that are available at the Dept website.
Essential part of this collection covers the history of Frumkin school, because this is our direct responsibility to preserve it. This school was totally international, and its achievements are still of high value for electrochemical community. Many articles were published in Russian because of specific features of the country in which the school had been developing, inspite of numerous troubles. Some explanations concerning rarely available Russian journals and translations can be found at this page.
